Tune up is very important for proper installation because this is an essential maintenance procedure to avoid engine failure. Our engines are shipped as a long block and we require our customers to use NEW Tune-up components. Here is a list of all NEW tune up parts that we require all our customers to install on our motors before engine is actually installed in the vehilce:

Replace Oil Pump from your old engine if our engine does not have crank sensor .

ALWAYS - Prime the engine with motor oil first before starting this will reduce initial wear start up on the motor. OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER COOLING COMPONENTS THERFORE IT IS CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND OUT WHAT WENT WRONG ON THE MOTOR PREVIOUSLY AND AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE GET ROD OUT SEVICE DONE ON THE RADIATOR & REPLACE RADIATOR HOSES. IF YOUR OLD ENGINE WAS OVERHEATED JUST RADIATOR FLUSH MAY NOT WORK.
Note: Your mechanic MUST follow this tune up / installation guide procedure.
NOTE: We ship all our engines are a long block. All external accessories like intake / exhaust manifold, alternator, AC compressor etc must be transferred from the old engine on to our engine.
